现场准确测量和确定洞口尺寸，首先应以电动伸缩门在洞口内安装横平竖直为基准，其次，保证电动伸缩门和地面垂直。

在测量时，应对在同一水平线上的洞口以水平线为基准测量洞口高度，对同一垂直线的洞口测量其宽度，门洞的上顶与电动伸缩门的上部要有一定的间隙，以确保电动伸缩门在伸缩的过程中不会与门洞四周产生摩擦。电动伸缩门的材质除了拉丝灰不会产生划痕外，其余的都容易被划伤，影响电动伸缩门的美观和使用寿命。
